On Monday we hosted Keith Tonkin, a Christchurch author, at our Duffy Role Model Assembly.

Mr Tonkin shared excerpts from several of his books, and talked about how important reading is for us as learners.
We really enjoyed listening to his stories, and being able to ask questions about his books was a wonderful opportunity. At the end of the Assembly, it was awesome to see so many Riccarton Primary school learners acknowledged for being role models in the school, and receiving their Duffy Books!
