On 28th August at Horncastle Arena there was an excited buzz in the air as hundreds of Year 7 & 8 students got ready to take part in the annual Cantamath competition.

Our Year 7 team was Jacky R8, Jiayin R7, Pranavi R7 and Ayesa R9 and our Year 8 team was Bo R9, Caley R9, Joyce R9 and Samyog R9.

The children worked really hard and the months of practise and hard work showed with both teams representing RPS admirably!

Thank you to Whāea Sarah, Whāea Jade, Whāea Judith and Whāea Keshia who came along to awhi on the night and to help out Whāea Haley, Whāea Maria and the students!

We look forward to Cantamath 2020!
