At the end of last term and start of this term, the learners in the Room 7 Te Reo Māori Class were working really hard on creating games for the learners in Room 5.

These games were made to teach the Room 5 learners the numbers 1-20 in te reo Māori.

On Wednesday we had the opportunity to come together and each group shared their game and taught the Room 5 learners how to play it. It was an awesome example of Tuakana Teina and both the Room 7 and Room 5 learners really enjoyed their afternoon together. At the end of the afternoon the Room 7 Te Reo Māori Class gifted their games to Room 5 to keep playing in class. Tino pai rawa atu!
