Kia Ora Riccarton Primary Whānau,

As part of my role as the School Community Officer for the Riccarton area, I have a responsibility to ensure people are acting safely in and around the School Grounds.

I have recently become aware of cars using the Yellow Lines outside the School as a pick up, drop off and parking zone. Please be reminded that the Yellow Lines are there for the safety of our Tamariki - they are not to be used for your convenience under any circumstances. I have requested that the School forward me registrations of any vehicles stopping so action can be taken. I will have no hesitation in issuing a $60 ticket to those who choose to breach this. Thanks to all those caregivers who make the effort to abide by these simple laws to ensure we provide the safest possible environment for our Tamariki.
