A group of our students had the opportunity to partake in a Landscaping course run by Wintec.

 During the course, students learned about the key components to landscaping and got to practise these in real life settings, creating pieces using the key element: plum, square and level. 

They put together a frame using 14 pieces of timber and no hardware which was strong enough to hold a vehicle in record time. 

They also produced a Cape Cod chair to take home and garden planter boxes which were delivered to, filled and planted out for our local early childhood centers. 

Feedback from the tutors reiterated how amazing our tamariki are - polite, hardworking and a pleasure to teach.

We are so grateful for this opportunity and hope that in the future this continues for our students to take part in.
