Year 9 Activities Day! 💥
Our Year 9 students had an enjoyable day filled with fun activities while the Year 10 students were away at Rainbow End!
One of the highlights of the day was the Careers Speed Date, where students had the opportunity to learn about different careers and ask questions to professionals in various fields.
In addition to the Careers Speed Date, the students also participated in a series of fun rotations. One of these rotations was Bow Tag, a thrilling game that combines elements of archery and tag. It not only provided a fun and active experience but also helped develop teamwork and strategic thinking skills.
Another rotation involved a Quiz, encouraging friendly competition among their peers.
To add to the relaxed atmosphere of the day, there was a mini carnival with various attractions, such as Whack a Mole, a game that requires quick reflexes and hand-eye coordination. The Bungee Run was another activity that allowed students to compete against each other while testing their strength and endurance.
Last but certainly not least, there was a Dunk Tank, where students had the chance to aim and throw balls at a target, hoping to dunk their teachers or fellow classmates into a tank of water. This activity brought laughter and excitement to the day, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved, especially those who were able to dunk Gareth and Reb! Check out the short videos below!
Overall, the day was filled with entertaining activities that provided our Year 9 students with valuable learning experiences, teamwork opportunities, and lots of laughter. It was a fantastic way to engage and motivate our students, fostering a positive and enjoyable learning environment.
Thanks Teagan for organising the day and to our wonderful staff who supported her to make this an awesome day! 🌟
