On the 9th September 2024, 12 students took on the duathlon course at Ruapuna Race track. They had to run 3km and bike 9km around a challenging yet fun course.

We caught up with Cooper Trenberth, Phoebe Griffiths and Nathan Wordsworth who had some amazing results.

What was the best thing about the day?

Phoebe: Getting to ride around the course

Nathan: Beating my brother

Cooper: Everything about the day was the best

What was the hardest thing about the day?

Phoebe: Nothing was a challenge it was all easy

Nathan: The transition from the bike to the run

Cooper: Losing my shoe during it
