Kia ora koutou
Our local Schools and Early Childhood Services have joined together to form Tōtaranui Community of Learning otherwise known as the Tōtaranui Kāhui Ako. The purpose of this community is to develop a strong learning pathway for all of our students. It will require the schools to work together to strengthen teacher practice and share resources, all of which will result in better teaching and learning for our young people.
Our Schools are:
- Redwood Primary
- Papanui Primary
- Northcote Primary
- Bishopdale Primary
- Cotswold Primary
- Casebrook Intermediate
- Papanui High School
Our Early Childhood Services are:
- Cotswold Preschool and Nursery
- Kidsfirst Kindergartens Cotswold Avenue
- Kidsfirst Kindergartens Northcote
- Kidsfirst Kindergartens Redwood
- Organic Kids
- Gumdrops Early Childhood Centre
- Redwood Early Education Centre
- Kindercare Learning Centres - Sawyers Arms
The Tōtaranui Community of Learning will be run by an Executive Team comprising of:
- Sharon Keen Principal of Casebrook Intermediate
- Jeff Smith Principal of Papanui High School
- Stephen Harrison Principal Cotswold Primary School
The team is assisted by an Executive Assistant, Chris McShane
Monthly the Tōtaranui Community of Learning Executive Team will post updated information on what is happening across the Community of Learning in all our school newsletters. Many activities will be learning related, but we will also be seeking community engagement and at times be celebrating student successes.
