Alyssa Harnett competed in an Inter-Primary school show jumping day held by Sefton Equestrian Centre on Saturday 16th September. 

Alyssa joined a composite team with some riders from Amberley and Leithfield schools.

Teams from 14 schools competed this year, each team had four riders and each rider had to ride two show jumping courses against the clock for the fastest time with a clear round (a clear round being the pony jumps every jump first time and doesn’t knock any rails down). 

Each rider doing a different height.  Alyssa and her pony, ‘A Dash of Sass’ competed in two rounds of 85cm and rode clear for both courses.

Alyssa and her team came 2nd overall just missing out on the Alana Adams Trophy.
