Enrolments
We encourage families to enrol at least six months before their child will be starting school. An early enrolment allows us to plan for a smooth transition to school, and means that we will have your contact details to advise you of any up-coming school Open Mornings.
How to Enrol
We encourage families to enrol at least six months before their child will be starting school.
To contact the school about enrolling your child, please email admin@thorrington.ac.nz.
To begin your child’s enrolment you will need
A copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport,
An immunisation certificate
Proof that you live within our enrolment zone (current utilities bill).
Once this documentation has been received by the school you will be able to complete an online enrolment form.

Once You’ve Enrolled
The New Entrant teacher will contact you approximately 4 weeks before your child’s cohort start date, to arrange a time for you and your child to come in for a New Entrant Whānau Connect meeting. This meeting is an opportunity for us to get to meet you and your child before they start school. You will find out who your child's teacher will be and which home base they will be in. We will ensure you have all the information regarding uniform and stationary.
