This month NZEI are holding paid union meetings (PUMs) for primary school teachers.

Thorrington school union members will attend a meeting at Halswell school at 1.30 on the 20 March. As teachers are provided with time to travel to these meetings they will not be onsite from 12.30 on Tuesday 20 March. The school will remain open for those parents who are unable to pick their children up at 12.30 and we will have some support staff and a few non-union members who can oversee children in a few central spaces. 

Please let your Home Base teacher know in advance if your child / children will need to stay at school and we will gather them into an appropriate Home Base space.
