On Saturday 7 December, Year 6 student Eve Hughes travelled to the University of Auckland to be awarded an ICAS Medal for the 2019 Year 6 Spelling Bee.

Medals are awarded for achieving the highest ICAS score in the country. Students from Years 3-13, representing schools from all across New Zealand, received their medals for the six ICAS subjects. Eve received a gold medal, a medal winner’s certificate, and a voucher for a free 6 month subscription to Macquarie Dictionary (an online dictionary). Ka pai Eve, we are so proud of you!
