Awesome effort by our South Zone Basketball representatives last Wednesday morning at Hillview Christian School.

Neither of our teams suffered defeat with the boys winning 4 from 4 and the girls only just missing out on qualifying for Canterbury's by a last second equaliser as we faced off against Hillview.

The boys will now go forward to represent the South Zone at the Canterbury Primary Schools Championship on Monday 16th August.

Well done to both teams.

• Won 12-6 v Hillview Christian School
• Won 14-2 v Beckenham
• Won 34-2 v Opawa
• Won 12-4 v St Martins

Girls results:

• Won 18-0 v Opawa
• Drew 2-2 v Hillview
• Won 8-4 v St Martins
