In Term 3 2020, Te Kura o Huriawa Thorrington created a wearable art show based around our place. The Ōpāwaho (Heathcote) River bends around our school and has provided the theme and motivation for students' costumes. From the river itself to native trees, insects and animals, our performance brings to life the water that surrounds our special place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we were unable to hold a live performance and have instead created this digital record.

We appreciate all of the effort and support from our parents and community in order to put this all together. It really does take a village.
