Year 0-4 Cross Country Challenge
Year 3 Boys lead the way with team honours
On Tuesday 4th August a group of year 2 to 4 students headed to Hillview Christian School for the Cross Country Challenge.
With the school Cross Country not due to take place until Monday 17th August this year was a little different in terms on entries.
Children were invited based on 2019 Cross Country results and so our number of participants was a little lower than would usually be the case.
This didn't stop the children that represented the school though with some good success throughout the age groups.
Individual winners of their age groups came in the form of Josh Smith in the year 3 Boys and Chloe Valleyl in the year 3 Girls.
For the 3rd year in a row our year 3 boys took out the team honours with Josh being joined by Louis Newman in 5th place and Hugo Whitely in 6th place.
A silver medal was also picked up by Amelie Osbourne in the year 2 girls event who fought valiantly to the very end and just missed out.
Well done to everyone that came out to represent the school, it was great to see a taster of what we have coming up in the school event soon.
