Congratulations to the seven Papakōwhai students who represented Parumoana Cluster yesterday at the Wellington Regional Athletics competition in Masterton. They all achieved personal bests and great results.
Maya Rouse came 4th in the Year 7 Vortex with her furthest throw of 39.20m.

Courtney Higham placed 6th in the Year 5 80m sprint and 7th in the Year 5 150m sprint.

Sascha Bennett came 7th in the Year 8 100m sprint and 10th in her Year 8 200m race.

Charlotte Harrison came 18th in the Year 8 200m sprint. The competitors in this race were all so close with placings only milliseconds apart.

Denzel Beyer-Rieger was 13th in the Year 8 200m sprint.

Roman Summerville-Murray achieved 14th place in the Year 8 1,500m long distance race.

Isabelle Aubrey came 22nd = jumping a great 3m in the Year 5 long jump.
