We are wanting to employ a gardener to work about 3 hours per week to help us keep our gardens looking tidy.

What you will do

• Maintain gardens by planting, pruning shrubs and weeding
• Discuss gardening requirements with our caretaker

Working conditions

• This job could be done three hours per week or in larger blocks of time to suit the person.
• Focus on the garden at the front of the school, the raised garden by the staffroom, the planting on the Rimu ramp, the raised garden outside Tōtara 1 and the garden by the hall.

What you don't have to do

• Weed spraying
• Lawn mowing
• Removing large shrubs or trees
• Pruning trees
• Building or repair work
• Supply your own gear
• Remove waste
