Cricket Wellington are coming to support Papakōwhai School with their Yeah! Girls Cricket programme. They will be running a lunchtime session each Thursday for 6 weeks for Year 5 - 8 girls.
The programme is designed to encourage girls aged 10-14 years to be active, have fun and give cricket a go. They will be teaching skills via fun drills, activities and games.
If your daughter is keen to give cricket a go or already plays cricket, please chat to them about coming along and playing. The first session is tomorrow lunchtime.
Later in the year, Wellington Cricket will host a girls tournament.
