Chinese Community Night: A Big Success!!!

Alison Flint —

We are thrilled to share the success of our first Chinese Community Night, which took place in the last week of Term 3. This event brought together approximately 40 members of our local Chinese community for an evening filled with laughter, enjoyment and connection.

The atmosphere was vibrant with a wide range of colourful and diverse dishes. When it came to dinner time there wasn’t a plate not filled to the brim with traditional food. There was so much to choose from, people couldn’t help but to try it all!

Throughout the evening, many attendees communicated in Mandarin and Cantonese, highlighting the importance of providing our communities with the platform to make connections within the school that may have not been explored.

We are excited to announce that we plan to host another gathering to celebrate the Chinese New Year in 2025! We hope to see even more community members join us for this festive occasion.
