Congratulations Sacha and Emma!

This week Sacha Herd and Emma Harrison took part in the World Scholars Cup global competition, competing against students from 11 different countries in debate, essay writing and knowledge quizzes. Teams are tested on a diverse and broad curriculum which they study ahead of the competition. 

Emma and Sacha joined 19 students from Aotea College.

Sacha and Emma's team placed 7th in the debate junior division and 11th in the Junior bowl (which is a quiz on the curriculum).

Emma won a silver medal in the scholars challenge for literature.

Sacha was 6th best junior debater.

Amazing results for Sacha and Emma!   

And their teammates from Aotea college won the whole competition this year!!!
