All the students that attended AIMS this year had a great time and great success.

Sofia Nguyen swam in five events achieving a personal best time in each. She placed in the top half of students swimming in each race. Congratulations Sofia.

Cross country - Theo Green (Year 7), Casey Spencer Pratt and Jacob Gibson (both Year 8) raced in the AIMS Cross Country Events. The boys knew that they would be in for a fast race over the 3km course. All three boys raced hard and achieved great times.

Theo placed 87th out of 140 runners with a time of 13.05 min. Casey placed 106/129 runners in a time of 13.41mins. Jacob placed 120th out of 129 runners with a time of 14.58mins.

A great effort from the boys, well done.

Mutu Ngarimu competed in the 18 hole golf competition playing a full round each day over 3 days. He finished in 6th place out of 92 golfers. A very impressive final placing. Congratulations Mutu!

The Thunder Netball team; Ava Beets, Milah Un, Heidi Ducker, Georgia Will, Isabelle Aubrey, Anna Taylor, Emma Harrison, Abby Macintosh, Emma Horner and Courtney Higham had a great week playing 10 different teams from across New Zealand. They played some very hard and close games. They finished 96th out of 136 teams. Great work team!
