On Friday of the first week of this term, the Mānuka team had a fun trip to The Willows as part of our Inquiry learning. Lots of our parents came along too. 

Our morning was organised by Matt from ECAN and Enviroschools.

We learned about aquatic invertebrates, like the 'party' bug, and land invertebrates, like spiders and beetles. We use magnifiers to look closely at things in nature and we designed and made our own bugs out of natural materials.We had an awesome time and one of the best things of all was rolling down the stopbank!
