Music Lessons at West Melton School
Available at school are our music tutors who teach a variety of instruments, piano, guitar/ukulele and drums.
Piano - Cecilia Pascoe & Adele Langlands
Celia Pascoe has been a private tutor in the school giving piano/keyboard lessons for over 14 years. There were initially 6 students in 2007 and this year a record number of 36 pupils are now learning piano. Another tutor, Adele Langlands started at WMS this year teaching the beginning students. Lessons are held at school throughout the day on Wednesdays and Fridays for Celia and Friday mornings for Adele. They are grateful for the support and encouragement from the WMS staff to them as private tutors and also to the children who are able to leave their class to go to music lessons. At this stage their timetables are full, but Celia and Adele are happy to take contacts for a waiting list. Priority is given to older students and pupils who have learnt before. Lessons are 15 minutes for beginners and 20 minutes for those who have been learning longer. (More information attached)
