HERE ARE A FEW THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:

FoWMS —

GOLD COIN ENTRY

As many in the community will now know the Friends of West Melton School are running a Country Fete on Sunday 28 March. The Fete is to raise funds for new outdoor education and play areas and will be held on the school field from 10am - 3pm.

With only 2 -3 weeks to go things are ramping up behind the scenes. We now have well over 100 stalls and a fantastic range of food & entertainment to make it a great day out for the whole family. This includes pony rides, pedalmania, and mini jeeps, Free Fire Safety Maze and information, 4 in 1 bungee and much more.

We have a wonderful team who are tirelessly working away to make sure this day will be a success.

HERE ARE A FEW THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:

STALLS

Every School Community group will be operating a stall - whether it be selling goods or running fun games for kids. Your child may be put on a roster to 'help' run their stall, so please be supportive of this - you may be able to help them out too!

Toetoe is on the look out for anything plant related!

RAFFLES

By now most children should have brought home raffle books to sell. Please return asap with money to the office or if you have any unsold drop into the office as we have families wanting more.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

VOLUNTEERS

We have had a good response from people to help us on the weekend with various tasks but we still need some more people on the Sunday. If you haven't put your name down to help - or can extend your hours, please fill out this form or contact Hannah Fifield in the office.

WHITE ELEPHANT DONATIONS

We will require donations of good quality clothing, and household items to sell in our White Elephant stall - first drop off time is this Saturday 13 March 2021 between 10am-11am to the container outside the caretakers shed down the end of field - access off Weedons Ross Road.

Donations of items for the Bake Sale will be needed the week before the fete so please keep this in mind.

A box to be filled will come home with students in the next week or so.

ON THE DAY

The streets will be busy around the town so if you live close can you please leave your car at home and walk to the Fete this will leave room for others to park their cars on the streets and in the official car park of Rotherham Drive.
