All students will have evidence of their reading or inquiry learning. The post will include a teacher comment on what they are doing well and what they need to work on next.

This term, we pilot our Tōtara Ākonga utilising Hero to upload their evidence and reflect on their learning. We are also investigating Hero’s Student Self Assessments feature to provide tools that elevate student agency. Hero now has the functionality for learners to add self-assessments directly into Hero. Once we have finished the pilot, we will share with caregivers these assessments to strengthen 3-way learning partnerships between home and school.
