Ako Conversations are being held on Tuesday 5 September and Thursday 7 September of this term. This will be an opportunity for our ākonga and whānau, alongside their teacher, to share their successes and celebrate their learning.

The purpose of the Ako Conversations are for

• Tracking progress and discussing the progress of the child

• If any interventions or learning supports are in place for your ākonga,

• Discussing attendance if there are concerns

• An opportunity for you to ask questions and/or share your celebrations.

Remember that the Ako Conversations are relative for the child’s age and stage and will look slightly different across the school communities.

We are very excited to be seeing you face to face for the Ako Conversations. If you wish to have your Ako Conversation online instead of in person please let your teacher or the office know.

Bookings will close Tuesday 5 September at 9 am.

• Tuesday 5 September - 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm

• Thursday 7 September - 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm

You will receive a notification from Hero on Monday at 3:30 pm and then will need to go to the Hero app and select “School Bookings” from the side menu. See attached image.
