COVID - 19 Update.

A few reminders regarding Alert Level 1

There are key public health measures for everyone in New Zealand to follow. For our school this means:

  • If people are sick, please stay home (phone Healthline or GP and get tested if you have cold or flu symptoms)

  • Children and staff will continue to regularly wash and dry hands, sneeze and cough into elbows

  • Soap, water and the ability to dry hands will continue to be provided in bathrooms

  • Regular disinfecting of shared surfaces will continue

  • We will support contact tracing efforts by requesting people use the VisTab in the office during school hours of 9 - 3pm (usual procedures)

  • We have decided to keep the drinking fountains closed until the end of this term

  • If you are unsure of whether to send your child to school, please feel free to contact the office to discuss!

We still need to be aware that the world is still in a pandemic situation and need to remain vigilant!

Although at Alert Level 1, venues or premises that have visitors no longer need to record or hold records of people’s movement on their premises, we have decided to provide this option for you as of Monday at entrances to the school where we will display the NZ COVID Tracer QR code poster.

We will be reverting back to the three weekly newsletters and KIT notices as our main forms of communication. However there may be times where we will continue to push out notifications as we have been doing on the Website and the parent app.

QR Code posters have been ordered to place at each entrance to the school, so keep an eye out for these in the coming weeks.
