West Melton Netball Club trials

will be held in just over 3 weeks away at the West Melton Community Centre details below.

Junior Trials- Sunday 7th March- Location West Melton Community Centre

Year 5/6 - 9am- 10am Parents need to remain at the centre during the trial.

Year 7/8- 10am-11.30am Parents need to remain at the centre during the trial.

Teams will be named after the trials where possible but can be subjected to change due to player movement.

Junior Club Nights- February Thursday 25th & March Thursday 4th March inside the West Melton Community Centre 6pm-7pm

This year we will hold two junior club nights prior to the trials, this is to help all the players switch back on their netball brain.

It will be run by some of our great coaches and will include some fitness, ball skills, rule changes for anyone moving to 7 aside netball and maybe some games if time allows.

We strongly encourage all Year 5/6/7/8 to attend and will hugely benefit the players prior to trials.

Community Help

• Learning Support - Are you keen to support children with their learning? We had a fantastic group of parents last year who made a difference! If you have some time available - we can make it work! Please email Jeanette at jeanette.neal@westmelton.school.co.nz if you would like to help.

• Community Support - Teachers would love to have you in their communities helping out. Contact your child’s teachers if you are willing and able.

• Road Patrol Duty - It would be fantastic and very much appreciated if we could have some volunteers to do crossing duty.
