We only have 17 more sleeps until our school fete on the 26th March where we are raising money for our school pool. Here is some information for you.

Second ‘Casual Clothes Day’ - This Friday 10th March a reminder that ākonga who are in Kōwhai, Tī Kōuka, and Tōtara are invited to bring something for the mystery bottle, while ākonga in Mānuka and Toetoe will bring a prize for the lucky dip.

Baking Stall - This stall is led by the Friends of West Melton School. At our last fete the stall made a profit of over $1500! On Monday the 21st of March the eldest or only for each family will be sent home with a home-baking box. There will be a notice attached to the box with ideas and drop off times.

Raffle tickets - We have been so impressed with how many tickets have already been sold. For every full book sold your family will go in the draw to win one of five $20 Milk Bar gift vouchers!! You can get extra books from the school office. A friendly reminder to return the ticket stubs and any unsold books to the school office by 9am on Wednesday 15 March 2023.

Volunteers - Thank you to those that have already offered to volunteer at our school fete. If you haven’t yet could you please fill out the volunteer form. We’ll contact volunteers in the very near future.

White Elephant Stall -

If you are having a cleanout please start putting items aside for our White Elephant stall. We are on the lookout for good quality clothing, homewares, small appliances and white goods, sports gear, good condition toys, furniture and general household items. Please no soft toys or books.

We are so excited for our fete this year. It is looking like it will be an amazing success for our school!
