Canterbury Region & Christchurch Cartooning School Holiday Program

We are very excited to be coming from Australia back to Christchurch to run our special cartooning workshops during October School Holidays 2022

It’s been more than 4 years since we ran a program in New Zealand due to Covid and border closures.

• For children aged 4 – 15 years
• No previous drawing skills required
• Professional cartoonist will be running the program with 39 years’ experience
• Working with children checks
• All art & craft materials provided

Shrek the Musical

Showcase Entertainment Group is producing the TYA (Theatre For Younger Audiences) version of the show, with a running me of approximately 75 minutes.

The show is written and directed to be accessible and fun for the whole family with friendly start times during the day of 10.30am and 2pm, ticket prices ranging from $25 -$65. Christchurch Isaac Theatre Royal during the school holidays October 4 - 8.

Magic Science Show - Rolleston Community Centre

Saturday 1 October 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30pm 

Experience the magic of science and the science of magic these school holidays with another spectacular science show featuring Fun Science with Amadeo. There will be extreme illusions, unbelievable reactions, and inevitable big booms!

Trunk-or-Treat - Rolleston Community Centre

Monday 31 October, 3.30–4.30pm Dunsandel Community Centre 

Monday 31 October, 5.30–6.30pm Rolleston Community Centre 

Park up in the community centre car park and turn your car boot into a spooky masterpiece! Kids will get the opportunity to dress up and trick or treat in a safe environment.
