PB4L Focus - R-E-S-P-E-C-T -

Find out what it means to me - R-E-S-P-E-C-T

In the great words of Aretha Franklin, our focus this term is RESPECT. During morning tea and lunch, this is in Positive Play and using Kind Words.

We will also be having a big push on showing respect by using kind words with our manners around the school.

What could this look like?

  • Saying "thank you" to the Road Patrollers in the morning and afternoon as you cross.

  • When someone says "good morning", you reply, "good, thank you," and maybe ask how the person is doing.

  • When getting sushi, pizza or Subway at lunch, say "thank you" when you receive it.

  • Thanking our volunteers, both students and parents, referees and umpires at sports, Learning Assistants, Admin and Support Staff and our teachers.

There are so many times we can make someone's day by using our manners. We look forward to hearing if you notice any changes at home.
