We are offering the opportunity for interested Year 4-8 students to take part in ICAS exams again this year.

ICAS exams are organised by the University of New South Wales and while offered to NZ schools it is important to note that they are based on the Australian Curriculum. Further information regarding ICAS exams can be found here: ICAS

The ICAS examination structure is the same format as 2019 and will be online, however this year there will be No Writing exam.

ICAS exams will be sat from Monday 17 August through until Friday 4 September.

There will be a standard fee of $16 for all ICAS exams.

To enrol your child in ICAS for 2020 please follow this link for our registration form- registration is not complete until payment is made.

Please ensure that your child is independently technically capable to sit the exam. You can check by trying some of the test questions on the ICAS website. Practice Test Link

IMPORTANT DATES:

24 July 2020: Registrations for ICAS through West Melton School needs to be completed.

31 July 2020: Payment must be made. Once we have received your child’s registration, an invoice will be charged to you at the beginning of Term 3. Payments can then be made through the WMS Shop or via Internet Banking (please put ICAS as reference). Invoices must be paid by 31 July 2020 or your child will not be entered.

17 - 21 August 2020: Science Exam

24 - 28 August 2020: Digital Technologies Exam

24 - 28 August 2020: English Exam

31 August - 4 Sept 2020: Spelling Exam

31 August - 4 Sept 2020: Mathematics Exam
