Julia Trushin - CRT Teacher

Kia ora, West Melton School community!

My name is Julia Trushin, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be joining West Melton School! 

I originally grew up in Timaru with my two older sisters, and I moved to Darfield in 2013 where I finished high school, and eventually studied Primary School teaching. 

Teaching has always been a passion of mine ever since I was little. In my free time I enjoy reading books, walking my dog Max, painting- particularly with water paints and spending time with my family. 

Last year, I had the wonderful opportunity to work in Toetoe on my second to last placement, meaning that I am a familiar face to some students. 

I am excited to be working in Mānuka, Ti Kōuka and Toetoe.
