Our purpose: Linking school and community

Our vision: Collaborating to strengthen community connection to West Melton School

Objectives:

• Provide a link between the young person, parents/caregivers and the school

• Bring parents/caregivers and teachers together in social and informative activities

• Raising funds to provide improved facilities and opportunities for members of the school community

• Carrying out other activities consistent with the charitable objects of the organisation

Currently our members are: Janelle McIntosh, Abbey Colgate, Megan Adamson, Bec Lowery, Andrea Innes, Pip Gould, Kelly Roberts, Rosie Sorrenson, Vanessa Henry, Tania Fernandez, Carey-Anne Whitaker and Tracey Riley.

We welcome new people at every meeting. It’s a great way to meet new people, have some fun and be a part of your child's school. Meetings at 7- 8.30pm, about once a term in the staffroom. You can come along to one meeting or all meetings!

We have a new “Communications person” and they’ll be sharing news regularly in our school newsletters (available online), and on hero online. You can “like us” and follow us on Facebook  to keep up to date.
