Kia ora koutou e ngā mātua, e ngā whānau, Talofa lava, Malo e lelei, Konichiwa!

Well here we are welcoming in the second half of 2018! Time is so precious, something we don’t seem to have as much of as we would like - all the more important to appreciate and be grateful for what we do have, and living life to the fullest!

I am finalising this issue of the newsletter in Rotorua, as I am on the Educational Leaders Forum 2018. We had some excellent, thought provoking speakers and discussions, the opportunity to network, share and learn from other leaders across all sectors of New Zealand.

Last week I received a great flyer sharing different ideas and suggestions on our Hauora and well being that I wanted to share with you.

Only YOU can make you happy!

Happy people are grateful and appreciate what they have, and they don’t  take anything for granted

Happiness is probably one of the things most wanted in the world. Happiness can be a choice and a way of life and we can make the decision to be happy. Even if you try to be happy, this can boost your emotional well-being. If you try to actively feel happier you may find your mood level improves.

                              Wellbeing is a journey!

Below are some tips and tricks to help you take that next step. I hope you find them helpful. Try a few of them for your own wellbeing.

Genuinely happy people treat others with kindness, sincerity and respect. Kindness is not only contagious, it’s also proven to help you be happier

                                  Inspire someone today!
