Kairuruku Tautoko Akoranga/Learning Support Coordinator

Kia ora koutou

As Learning Support Coordinator at West Melton School, I have the privilege of working with numerous ākonga, whānau, kaiako and kaimahi.

My role is to support the learning, health, pastoral needs of ākonga and their whānau. I have a vast library and encourge you to borrow any books of interest.

Please keep an eye out on the school Facebook page for parent courses and interesting helpful hints as well as the Learning Support space here in the newsletter.

There is no greater quote than "it takes a village to raise a child" and the village of West Melton have many children with a range of diverse needs that require support and understanding.

Attached are links to various child friendly videos that are worth watching alongside your child and family to help understand their peers.

Thanks in advance for viewing these.

If you need to reach out for support please email me on pam@westmelton.school.nz
