Celebrating Our Kura’s Success!

Lara Taylor —

We are delighted to share the incredible achievements of our students in the recent Tournament of Minds Regional and National Competitions.

On August 31, our two teams competed in the Regional Tournament, with amazing results as each team won their chosen discipline. Demonstrating the skill, creativity, and determination of our students.

Following their regional success, both teams then travelled to Wellington for the National Tournament on September 21. In an incredible result, our STEM team won the National Title in their category, while our Social Sciences team secured Honours, an impressive second place.

The journey continues for our STEM team, as they have been invited to compete in the International Finals in Sydney on October 31. This is a remarkable opportunity for our students to represent our kura on the global stage and demonstrate their talents at the next level.

In order to support the team’s journey to Sydney, we are seeking donations and sponsorship to help cover travel, accommodation and tournament costs. Any contribution, big or small, will go a long way in making this opportunity a reality for our students.

If you are interested in contributing, know of a business who may support the team or would like more information on sponsoring the team, please contact Lara Taylor lara.taylor@lincolnprimary.ac.nz. Direct payments can be made to Lincoln Primary 12-3153-0111979-00 Reference:TOM.

We appreciate your support as our amazing students prepare to represent our kura internationally!

We would like to acknowledge support we have already received from Naylor Love Commercial Construction, Peek Exhibitions, Premium Exhibitions and Lincoln New Word.
