Kuaka Bird
In Kuaka we have been working together to make a giant Kuaka bird. We have been painting, cutting and sticking in our spare time for a couple weeks now. The class has been working very hard and the bird is starting to come together.
First, we needed to cut some wings out of cardboard and while some people were doing the cutting all the other children were colouring some realistic feathers.
Next, we needed to paper-mache it . We used PVA glue to stick it down.
After that, we needed to cut out some big feathers to stick them on. Since there was not enough my friends and I needed to trace some more.
Then after that, we painted it brown to match the real bird.
Lastly, we glued the small feathers onto the wings and the body, then we were all finished!
