Senior Student Roles and Responsibilities
At Te Kura o Tauhinu Lincoln Primary School, we are excited to continue fostering authentic leadership opportunities. In 2025, the Student Leadership Coordinators Mrs Landrebe and Mr Allchurch, alongside a supportive team of teachers, look forward to guiding and empowering students as they develop their leadership potential.
Leadership within our school is not just about holding a title; it is about embodying the attributes of the IB Learner Profile, demonstrating agency and making meaningful contributions to our school community. We encourage our students to take initiative, collaborate and reflect on their impact, ensuring that leadership is not only about managing responsibilities but also about fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
At the start of each school year, a range of leadership opportunities is shared with students (with the possibility of more being added throughout the year). Those interested in taking on a leadership role are invited to apply by submitting a written or video-recorded application. Selected students will receive role-specific training to support them in their leadership journey.
As our students step into their leadership role(s), they will be presented with badges as a symbol of their commitment to taking action, leading with integrity and positively contributing to our school community.
