Karoro Week 9 Newsletter

Joel Thomson —

So let's tell you a tale about production……

Once upon a time there was a class called Karoro and they were in a school called LPS(Lincoln Primary School) The production for syndicate 3+4. First I’m going to show you some photos and then we will get into the tale…….

The Toads. Princess Peach Mario and Luigi DK Yoshi

And the best one yet……

MICHAL JACKSON!-played by Jay

And our lead roles were played by Ruby-May and Tilly.

Ok so let's actually get into the tale of production acting group.

Ok so first we had to do a lot of practices because we had to get it ready for the real nights. So first we had to get in our costumes and then we had the nights. We had to be at school by 5pm and then we had to all get signed into school and then we had to get changed into are costumes and then we had to keep ourselves entertained until the show. Once the runner came to our classroom we had to line up outside and then walk over to the hall and then get ready to go on stage. Then it was our turn to go on stage. It was the dancers going on stage first. They danced to the song ‘Beat i’t by Michael Jackson.

Charlotte: I loved getting to perform on stage in front of so many parents even my mum. I saw my mum, sister, my sisters friend & my step dad. I waved at them in the finale. It was so much fun.

The Singing Group

We got to pick our own outfits, I choose bright colorful pants a jean jacket and a dark red t-shirt. I really liked what I chose for my outfit.

We started practicing in front of Syndicat 2. We had lots of fun.

I found it a little scary at first but then I got you to it.

Production Dancers.

Everybody did really well. We tried to be very quiet in the foyer but it was very hard with the people performing outside with different songs that make us dance.

Michael Jackson did an amazing job at staying neutral and at staying with both of the teams.

We had so much fun learning about the 80s. We all want to thank parents for coming along and watching our show. Hope you enjoyed it. We loved learning about the 80s and we thank the teachers very much.
