A Friendly reminder that smart watches need to be switched onto classroom mode during the school day.

We have found there is an increasing number of students with smart watches and as good as they are, they do pose a slight issue with communication to the outside world during the school day. Smart watches run on the same policy as phones which have Ministry guidelines around usage. We would greatly appreciate your support with promoting this with your child if they have a smart watch and if you are able to switch the watch to school mode from your provider app that would be much appreciated.
