Instruction begins at 8.50am each day. Please ensure your child arrives between 8.30 and 8.50am. This ensures that they have time to hang up their bag, greet their teachers and friends, organise reading folder, homework, etc, and be prepared to start their school day on time. The above routine helps your child to feel they belong, are accepted, and valued, and starts the day off positively.

Please note: our school gates do not open until 8.30am. This allows teachers time to prepare for the day.

NB: We do not close early during the winter term or on wet days.

The school bell is rung at 8.50am. It is also rung to tell children when they are to go outside at playtime and the end of the school day.

During wet weather, an announcement is made over the public announcement system, to advise children and staff that it is too wet to go outside. This also occurs on very cold days.
