This is my fourth year at Lincoln. I feel so lucky to have found my perfect teaching buddy in Anna Smith! The two of us thrive in a collaborative team teaching environment. I love creating innovative and inquiry-based learning opportunities for all the children. Before Lincoln I was at Somerfield School and before that, spent 13 years teaching in Auckland. I cannot believe that I started my career teaching at St Martins 28 years ago! I don’t feel that old! I have a passion for teaching Visual Arts and Performing Arts  and Science (you must check out my Darkling Beetles, the class guinea pigs - Milly, Molly and Mandy… but wait there are more… two baby axolotls!!) Next year I am already thinking about getting support goats for the classroom! When I am not living and breathing teaching and learning, you will find me out in the country. I live at Little River on a lifestyle block. Spare time is taken up with gardening and mowing the lawns! I love animals and have two dogs, a cat and one old chicken.
