Bicycles and Scooters
Children who cycle or scooter to school must wear an approved safety helmet and their Hi-Viz safety vest.
If parents allow their child to ride to school, they take responsibility for their cycling safety.
Bicycles should be ridden on the road, not on the footpath.
Children who bring scooters to school must obey the road rules. Scootering children must give way to other pedestrians.
Unfortunately, our cycle area cannot be secured against bicycle and scooter thieves.
Please note students must not ride their bikes or scooter inside the school grounds. This is for safety reasons.
We recommend that:
- bicycles and scooters are named
- bicycles and scooters are locked
- bicycles are insured
- bicycles/scooters are not lent to others
