School Uniform

Lincoln Primary —

School uniform is required to be worn at Lincoln Primary School.

Our uniform underwent a review in 2014 and now consists of red and green polo shirts and fleece tops, paired with forest green pants, shorts, or culottes. An optional summer dress and cardigan are also available.

Wide-brimmed or bucket sunhats must be worn in Terms One and Four.

All clothing, including hats, should be named.

The range is mostly unisex, and you may choose what you wish your child to wear from the range available.

Please note the Senior jackets are for Years 7 & 8 only.

Our uniform can be ordered online through Argyle School Wear at: www.argyleonline.co.nz

A sample range of uniforms is available to try on for size at Reception between 8am - 3:30pm. If you are unable to visit the office, to find the correct size follow the size guide online at www.argyleonline.co.nz/measuring-tips.

Any form of tidy, sturdy footwear is acceptable. Sturdy, closed-in footwear must be worn for Technology Classes (Years 7 & 8). Jandals are not permitted at school.

We have also introduced a safety vest for coming and leaving school. All students are strongly encouraged to wear these for their own safety. The school has vests that can be loaned and will be distributed once the student starts school, to be returned when you leave the school. Otherwise, you are welcome to purchase your own. There is a $10 charge for any lost vests.

Second-hand uniforms

Our shop is based in the hall, and is open Friday afternoons 2.45pm - 3.15pm.  They have a range of Lincoln Primary second-hand uniforms for sale at reasonable prices and also a selection of new hats.

Donations of second-hand uniforms are much appreciated or can be sold “on behalf” with a small percentage retained by our PTA store.

The shop, based on the playground side of the hall, next to Kelly Club

Lost Property

A lost property box is kept outside the Main Reception/Office on the school side. You are welcome to come and claim your child’s property at any time. Unclaimed lost property at the end of each term is then donated to the PTA second-hand uniform shop.
