Enrolment Zone
Prebbleton School has a clearly defined enrolment zone. Additionally, please note our zone will be changing for enrolments from 1 January 2026.
All students who live within the home zone described below (as shown on the attached map) shall be entitled to enrol at the school. Note that residences on both sides of the road are considered in zone except where specified.
This description and map are for the current zone, for enrolments up until 1st January 2026. Please see below for further details.
The boundary for enrolment at Prebbleton School is the block formed by: Halswell Junction Road (south side only) between Knights Stream and Springs Road; Springs Road from Halswell Junction Road to Marshs Road; Marshs Road to Main South Road; Main South Road to Hamptons Road; Hamptons Road to Birchs Road; Birchs Road to Leadleys Road; Leadleys Road to Ellesmere Road; Ellesmere Road to Tosswill Road; Tosswill Road to Longstaffs Road; Longstaffs Road to Whincops Road; Whincops Road to Knights Stream on the intersection with Marshs and Quaifes Road; Follow Knights Stream to Halswell Junction Road.
Proof of residence within the home zone will be required. For any additional information about details of our school zone please contact the school office.
Attached to this article are the new description and map for our amended enrolment scheme, from 1 January 2026. The changes are small - they impact some streets near our boundary with Knights Stream School and some streets near our boundary with Templeton School (Divine Drive area). Please take a closer look if you live in those locations.
The amended scheme commences for students enrolling from 1st January 2026. The 'old home zone' remains in place for all enrolments up until that date.
The Board adopted the amendment on 23 June 2025.
Please note that there is a 'grandparenting' clause (additional entitlement to enrol) which will allow future out-of-zone enrolments for siblings if the following criteria is met:
the new student lives in the 'old home zone'
the new student has a sibling already attending our school on their start date
that sibling was attending our school on the implementation date (June 23rd, 2025) and lived at an address that was within the 'old home zone'
