Kia ora kotou. Ko Jo tōku ingoa. I grew up in Waihōpai Invercargill, spending my late teens and early 20s in Ōtepoti Dunedin. While Ōtautahi Christchurch has been home for 20ish years, this southern girl still backs the Highlanders, 100%.

After a couple of years teaching part-time at Taumata Kuri Prebbleton School, I moved to fulltime in 2012. Throughout my 25+ years of teaching, I have taught every year level in Primary education, however, my passion is for developing the talents and skills of our youngest ākonga. I feel grateful and privileged to be part of such a wonderful school community. My mission for our tamariki is to make learning fun and ‘awe-filled’. Outside of school hours I love to frequent cafes, travel, walk in the hills and camp in the Tasman district with family and friends. I live just down the road in Wigram with my husband, Grant and our two sons, Jordan and Cullen.
