Have you had a look at our new Library Dashboard? This is a great resource created to help learning, and it can be accessed at home.

This year the school has purchased a new library system, Accessit.  This system allows us to manage books in the library as well as providing the opportunity to create different resource banks to help with learning.  These resource banks have been created with tamariki of all ages in mind and contain a variety of different activities to help ako.

Every few weeks the dashboard will be updated to reflect different events or learning that is taking place, this could be specific to Prebbleton School or could be nationwide initiatives.  We currently have two dashboards available.  The first is a Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori dashboard that contains many activities related to tikanga or Te Reo Māori.  This is the dashboard you will be presented with when entering the site.  We also have a Roald Dahl Dashboard as Wednesday was National Roald Dahl Day.  To access this dashboard you will need to select the dashboard button (top right option) and then select the Roald Dahl Day from the options that will drop down.  Click here to be taken straight to our new dashboard.  Remember to save this page to your bookmarks or use this link to access the dashboards in future

Accessit also allows tamariki the ability to access our library system from home, should they wish to check what books the library has, place holds, or review their account.  Each child will have their own individual login.  Please watch out for this as it will be coming home in the next day or two. The username is not case sensitive and is your child's first name.surname.  The password is case sensitive and is a mixture of 4 lowercase letters.  You or your child will be able to change this if you wish.  To change the password click the arrow beside your child's name and a drop box will appear, then select profile settings and edit.  If you have any questions please email Sarah at sarahh@prebbleton.school.nz.
