Prebbleton sent along 3 teams to the Canterbury Primary Winter Sport Tournament on Thursday last week.

The Year 5/6 A netball team, Year 5/6 A rugby team, and Year 7/8 A hockey team played incredibly well throughout the day and should be so proud of their effort! These teams either won or finished 2nd at the Lincoln Zone tournament to earn their spot. There were some tense games and amazing goals and tries scored. Hagley Park played host for the rugby and netball, while the hockey was held at Nunweek Park. 

The Senior A Hockey was 2nd in their pool with 4 wins and 2 losses. They had a great day and showed excellent sportsmanship. Many thanks to Miss Tisdall who came to be our team referee. 

The Year 5-6 Rugby team finished 5th overall, narrowly missing out on the semi-finals. Many thanks to Jack A (former student) for reffing and to Steph for helping to manage the team. 

The Year 5-6 Netball team faced strong competition throughout the day. They finished 3rd in their pool. A big thank you to Ella M (former student) for umpiring and Nicola and Julia for managing the team.
