Check out these stunning creations depicting the nine stars of Matariki.

Moana 1,2,3 and 4, were fortunate to have Whaea Kristy tautoko (support) our learning about the stars of Matariki. They created collaborative art pieces using a stencil and dying tissue paper and creating drawings that linked to the meaning of each star. 

Ngā mihi nui ki a koe Whaea Kristy and whānau for the design of the stencils, laser cutting them for us and mucking in with our tamariki, getting messy and creative. Check out the photos in the gallery below.
